This wooden propeller is available for sale by a friend of AeroAntique. It is believed to be vintage 1916-1919 for use by the Curtiss R-4 Airplane equipped with the 220 Curtiss V-2 engine judging by stampings on the blade  9'6" x 5'7" and the drawing number 11612. It is 9ft 6in in length and is believed to be mahogany.  A US Air Service document from 1919 with helpful propeller information can be found here.

Interested parties are asked to email us at curator@aeroantique.com.  Buyer is responsible for verifying authenticity. A private best-offer auction will be held for interested buyers.  The propeller is located in New York state and can either be picked up locally or shipped, with buyer paying shipping costs.
