Turn and Bank Indicator, (Wendezeiger) Luftwaffe, Fl 22402, Pneumatic
This is an experienced yet fine example of an early WWII-era German Wendezeiger (Turn and Bank) Fl 22402, as used in aircraft of the Luftwaffe, such as the Bf-109, Me-110, and Ju-87.
This example has the pneumatic connection attached. Made by Askania, it has a manufacturing date of Feb 14, 1935.
Measures ~3 inches diameter and 5 inches deep. The case paint shows some corrosion, but the glass and face markings are intact, as is the floating ball within the bank indicator.
