Tankers Helmet, Swedish Army WWII, Palmgrens Leather

Here is an original WWII-era all leather Tanker's Helmet from the army of Sweden.  Even though Sweden was a neutral country during WWII, they amassed a defensive armored force that numbered over 800 tanks by 1945.  

Made by Swedish high-end leather goods specialty manufacturer, Palmgrens, see logo with the 3-crown symbol of Sweden on the inside flap.  Helmet size is 58.  The lining and straps are in good shape, the leather could use some conditioning.  But it is in fine condition for its age. 

Truth be told, we originally acquired this from a naive seller, thinking it was an early vintage flight helmet.  Once in our hands, we discovered that we, too, were naive, when learning its true origin and purpose.  But we enjoyed doing the research and hope that it gets into the hands of the right collector!
