This is what is believed to be either a WWII-era or 1950's-vintage single engine tachometer from an aircraft of the USSR, measuring up to 3000 RPM.
It appears to be similar to the tachometer used by the early Soviet Fighter Polikarpov I-16. See image of the I-16 instrument panel from its 1941 flight manual showing the location of the instrument.
It is in very good condition given its estimated age. The glass and case are intact and the lettering is precise. Measures ~3.25 inches diameter and ~5 inches deep.
