Propeller Blade Cross Section, RAF Spitfire Fighter PV202

Here is a very interesting artifact: A cross-section of a wooden propeller blade from a WWII-era RAF Spitfire Fighter.  The glued/laminated wooden pieces are clearly visible in this cross section, giving it strength, as well as the metal laminate on the blade's leading edge. The piece is marked with the serial number of Spitfire PV202Y1AC161. This was purchased by AeroAntique from a British aircraft restoration team during a fund-raising event at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) at RAF Fairford in 2010.   It is ~1/2 inch wide by ~10 inches long.
