Mach Speed Indicator / Machmeter, CF-100 Canuck, CL-13 Sabrejet, RCAF

Here is a Mach Speed Indicator, or Machmeter, Type A-2B/C, made by Sperry of Canada to RCAF reference 6A/1109. Our research indicates that it may have been made for the Canadian-designed/manufactured Cold-War-era interceptor aircraft, the Avro CF-100 Canuck (see photo of CF-100 instrument panel showing its location), or for the Canadair-manufactured CF-13 Saberjet, the RCAF version of the F-86 Saberjet.  

It is in nice condition given its age.  The luminous paint has faded to the typical orange tint, and some of it has chipped from its pointer (the chips are under the glass, but could be removed).  Measures 3.25 inches by ~7inches deep.
