Bendix
Fuel Flow Indicator, Dual Engine Bendix 6007-68C-7-A, PV-1, PV-2, P2V USNavy
This is an authentic vintage Dual Engine Fuel Flow Indicator as appeared in the US Navy and US Coast Guard Patrol Bomber Lockheed PV-1 Ventura, as well as the Lockheed PV-2 Harpoon, and P2V-7 Neptune, made by Pioneer div of Bendix, PN 6007-68C-7-A. See photo of PV-1 Instrument Panel from the Pilots Flight Manual dated 1944 showing instrument location. Its face has embossed "BU AERO USN" i.e., Bureau of Aeronautics, US Navy. It is also stamped with the wing logo of Naval Air Station Alameda (CA).
The instrument is in exceptional condition for its age. The dial markings are clear and the glass and case are intact. The pointers are marked L and R, one for each engine, and the markings are of both the classic Munsell green and white as used on US Navy aircraft instruments of the era. See photos.
