KC-135 Stratotanker Stabilizer Actuated Trim Tab PN 5-95501-15

This part is as removed from a US Air Force Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker aerial refueuling aircraft. We believe it to be a part of the aircraft's elevator stabilizer system. The damage to the control surface is evident, hence it was replaced some time ago.  We believe it to be depicted in the KC-135 flight manual page of Flight Control Surfaces as item 16 - Stabilizer Actuated Tab, see photo, mounted on the inside edge of the elevator. Measures ~ 28 x 11 x 2 inches. A cool conversation piece for the man cave, indeed.
