The pneumatically-driven, gyroscopically-stabilized Mark 14, Modification 15, Gun Sight, was mounted on 40MM Bofors Anti-Aircraft guns on fighting ships of the US Navy during and after WWII. The spinning gyro stabilized the illuminated reticle that appeared in the sight window as the gunner aimed at oncoming aircraft, thereby overcoming the tossing and rolling movement of the ship to which the gun was mounted. It appears to be new old stock and is in its original case.

This Gun Sight has been provided to the Mare Island Naval Shipyard Museum, Vallejo CA, where it is being placed on display.  Be sure to visit this fine US Naval Museum.
