Fuel Quantity Indicator, GE Type 8DJ1LAS, 115 Gal, R88-I-2025 US Navy F4F

Here is a main tank Fuel Quantity Indicator as used in a US Navy aircraft as evidenced by the yellow USN anchor symbol stamped on its side. It is new old stock in its original carton with an envelope containing mounting screws and instructions.. We've been told that this was used in a version of the F4F Wildcat fighter, but although we've not confirmed via part number, its full capacity matches that of the F4F main fuel tank according to its flight manual. Measures 3.25in diameter and ~ 2.5in deep. The stock number R88-I-2025 is also stamped in yellow on the side of the casing.

It is in exceptional condition given its age.  The dial markings are clear and the glass and case are intact.
