Frequency Wavemeter, GE CG-60ABO, for Ships Radar, US Navy Dept of Ships

This artifact is a WWII-era Frequency Wavemeter Type CG-60ABO made by General Electric for use by the US Navy Dept., Bureau of Ships. "For General Radar Use." The scale on the Slide Bar is graduated from 0 to 150. The slide itself has a red index marker to align with the frequency measurement scale on the Slide Bar.  There is a Calibration checklist mounted inside of the felt-lined cherry wood case.  The thumbscrew on the end of the device loosens, allowing the collar to be repositioned.

Case measures ~10 inches by 2 inches by ~1.5 inches.  The wavemeter is 8.5 inches long and ~1 inch wide.  It is in terrific condition for its age.
