This is a desk calendar for 1943 from the Grumman Aircraft Engineering Corporation, the firm that brought us the iconic US Navy fighters F4F Wildcat, F6F Hellcat, and torpedo bomber TBF Avenger. 

The calendar, presented as a 9 inch by 6 inch spiral-bound storybook, presents a tribute to Grumman with a brief history of the company, its aircraft up to 1943, and its manufacturing facilities.  Each month includes the mention of a past milestone which occurred that month during the history of Grumman.
