Here is an authentic WW2-vintage Carburetor Temperature Indicator as appeared in the early WW2 Fighter Curtiss P-40B Warhawk, made by Weston. See photo of the P-40B Instrument Panel in an P-40B displayed in the USN Aviation Museum in Pensacola FL showing instrument location with a red dot. This indicator has remnants of a service label for the Royal Canadian Air Force.

The core of this instrument is loose within the case, and should be considered a incomplete artifact.
