Minneapolis-Honeywell
Fuel Quantity Indicator, Bomb Bay Tank, P-2 Neptune
$34.50
This is a vintage Cold-War-era Bomb Bay Tank Fuel Quantity Indicator, capacitor-type, made by Minneapolis-Honeywell, part number JG702OA-42, as used in the US Navy's Patrol Bomber and Sub Chaser the Lockheed P-2 Neptune (see photo of page from the P2V7 Neptune flight manual dated 1961 depicting the instrument location on the cockpit panel with a red dot). I have also confirmed its use in the P-2E by its parts manual dated 1966.
Measures 2.25 inches diameter and 5 inches long.
It is in decent condition given its age. The dial markings are clear and the glass and case are intact. The body paint is evidence of its experience. It has a service date stamp of 2-59.
