"After seeing pictures of the cockpit of the X-1 in the Smithsonian air museum I was inspired to make my own replica of the main instrument panel. The panel itself is handmade from 2024-t3 0.071 aluminium and measurements were estimated based on the standard gauge dimensions. Still have a few instruments to get custom faces made for since they're specific to the X-1."
