Here is a WW2-era British Airspeed Indicator IXE 6A/585 WW2, with a maximum airspeed of 350 Knots. As the airspeed increases, rotating the pointer clockwise from the 6 o'clock position, it rotates 360deg past 0 once 220 Knots is exceeded, thus following the airspeed index on the inner scale, up to 350 Knots. According to the Royal Australian Air Force 346 Types and Locations of Instruments dated 1945, this indicator was used in the twin-engine Bristol Beaufighter.
