Liquid Oxygen Quantity Indicator, A3 Skywarrior, Liquidometer EA905E-34
This is a vintage Pre/& Vietnam War-era Liquid Oxygen Quantity Indicator made by Liquidometer, model EA905E-34, as used in the US Navy's carrier-based strategic bomber the Douglas A-3 Skywarrior. I have not seen this particular indicator on any other aircraft. It has a spec prefix of DAC (Douglas Aircraft Corp), and a manufacturing date on the data label of 7-2-57. It also has an Overhaul label dated 1962 at Naval Air Station Jacksonville (FL).
We are linking this indicator to the A-3 based upon a detailed description of it in the A-3 Flight Manual as a perfect description of the face of this instrument, see photo of the relevant page, since we've not found a decent photo of it on the pilot's instrument panel. It is in exceptional condition given its age. The dial markings are clear and the glass and case are intact. See photos.
