The WWII-era Japanese Type 97 Turn and Bank Indicator was used in several aircraft of the Japanese Army according to the Funatsu Aviation Instruments Museum website, including:
- Type 97 Fighter Nakajima Ki-27 Nate
- Type 98 Reconnaissance Seaplane Aichi E11A Laura
- Types 1, 2, 95, and 99 Trainers
Measures ~2.75 inches diameter and ~5 inches long. It is in reasonable yet experienced condition given its age. The glass and case are intact. The fluid in the floating ball chamber is no longer present.
