Here is a Rate of Climb / Vertical Speed Indicator, Bendix 1648-6U-A6-1, type AN-5825-7, as used in the Korean War-era US Air Force F-86F Sabrejet Fighter, as documented in the F-86F Maintenance Manual dated Sept 1954 (see photo of page from this manual showing the instrument and the AN #). Measures 3.25 inches diameter and ~5.5in deep.
It is in nice condition given its age. The dial markings are clear and the glass and case are intact. The pointer floats a bit.
