This is a Field Manual for the Identification of Japanese Aircraft published for US Military Intelligence by the War Department in March 1942. It was clearly published in the rush to war in order to provide service personnel with the best information available at the time regarding the aircraft of their adversary.
This 175 page manual describes and illustrates ~85 aircraft of the Japanese Army and Navy.
The manual is in good condition. No tears. Three small holes have been drilled near teh binding, see photo, but do not impair the content or integrity of the manual. The original owner's last name in handwritten on the cover. Measures 6 3/4 inches by 4 3/8 inches by 1/4 inch thick.
