This hard to find Air Navigation Computer was used by Japanese aviators during WWII. This example has been slightly damaged but remains a good example of its type.
According to collector George Fulford's notes:
Damaged but the essential elements are there to make comparisons to our computers. First, it's heavy and made of solid aluminum with a padding of wood on the handle - it looks like the proverbial UAL Ping Pong computer. It's crudely made and the stamp in the metal handle shows #3310, a low number, made before conditions in homeland Japan became really bad. Even in beat up condition it is still a rarity.
