This is a rare WWII-era 8-day Aircraft Clock, Type A-10, Jaeger Chronoflite, as made by Jaeger for the Air Corps US Army in 1941 as evidenced by the embossed marking on its face. This version displays Elapsed Time with 60 minute Center Seconds Chronograph.
More about this type of clock can be read at Historic Timepieces.
Our example is 'experienced' with the patina evidencing its age. It runs when wound, but only temporarily, so it clearly needs some servicing.
