Now here's a rare panel from our good friend Todd Blalock....

According to Todd:

This is the Ignition Control Panel from America's first jet aircraft, the Bell P-59. Including prototypes and production models only 66 total built. First prototype flight took place in late 1942.  Due to lack of engine power and other problems, the P-59 was mainly used for pilot training and study for future jet engine aircraft.

The single engine prototype XP-59B was Lockheed's primary inspiration the the P-80 Shooting Star.
