This is an original WWII-era training manual for the Oldsmobile-manufactured 20mm M2 Automatic Cannon. This manual was used in the training of armorers in the US Army Air Force and the US Navy. The 20mm M2 cannon was installed in the P-38 Lightning, the tail position of the B-29 Bomber, P-61 Black Widow, and the F6F-5N Hellcat.
This 68-page manual describes the gun and its subassemblies, service and maintenance, and parts list. It is in reasonably good condition given its age.
