Rate of Climb / Vertical Speed Indicator, 30 M/S, Luftwaffe Variometer Fl.22386

Here is a WWII-era Vertical Speed Indicator used in aircraft of the German Luftwaffe, measuring vertical speed in a climb or descent from -30 meters/second to +30 meters/second. It is labeled Fl.22386, and was made by Balda-Werk, Dresden (oeq). According to references on the internet, this instrument appeared in Luftwaffe aircraft Do-335, FW-190, Ta-152, Bf-110 G, and Bf-109.

Measures ~3.25 inches diameter and ~2.5 inches deep. It is in very good condition given its age.
