F9F-5 Panther Fighter Flight Computer 1952

This is an original Rest Computer developed specifically for the US Navy's Grumman F9F-5 Panther Fighter jet with the J48-P-6A engine in 1952, Stock No R88C1075-039-000.  It is in its original packaging with instructions. The Rest Computer was designed for simple solution of level flight cruise control problems. It is a 3-disc circular slide rule. 

Measures 7 in diameter.
