This offer is for an Distance Indicator, ID-310A/ARN, made by Hoffman, part of the TACAN system used by numerous aircraft of the US Air Force and US Navy from the 1950's thru 1980's, such as the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter (see photo from F-104 Flight Manual in gallery), North American F-100 Super Sabre, Boeing B-52 Stratofortress Bomber, and Lockheed C-130 Hercules.
It is in very nice shape for its age. The glass and case are intact and the dial markings are clear and precise. This one has a service label "NARF ALAMEDA" (Naval Air Repair Facility), with a service stamp of Oct 1968, see photo.
