Aircraft Clock, USSR Type 1 Movement

Here is a fine example of Soviet WWII-era Type 1 Aircraft Clock, 3-1940 Type-1. Per a colleague, this clock was manufactured in the 3rd quarter of 1940 with a Type-1 movement (Hampden).  This clock appeared in the Soviet Fighters Polikarpov I-15Bi and I-16 (see photo from I-16 manual dated 1940).

It is in terrific condition given its age.  The clock sets and winds fine. It runs slightly fast. Measures 3 inches diameter and 1 inch deep.  There is a slight chip in the glass near the 12 o'clock position.
