Here is a pair of components to the Bendix P-1 Autopilot System as used in US Navy aircraft of the 1950's. Included are one Gyro Horizon Indicator and one Turn and Bank Indicator. Each has a US Navy Pensacola service label from the 1960's, and a IRAN (Inspect And Repair as Necessary) label from the 1970's, likely when they were removed from the aircraft.
The Bendix P-1 Autopilot system was used in several US Navy aircraft during the 1950's and saw service into the 1960's, such as in the A4-D Skyraider, F4U-5N Corsair, P2V-5F Neptune Antisub aircraft, and the P5M Marlin seaplane, according to their flight manuals from the 1950's. .
Both are in exceptional condition for their age. Each measures ~3.25 inches diameter and ~8 inches deep. This offer is for the combined pair.
