BVR
Attitude Indicator, Remote, IND-A5-UH1 with Lighted Bezel
$225.00
This is a Vietnam War era Attitude Indicator type IND-A5-UH1 made by BVR, part number 85374/277700, as used in the US Army's Bell UH-1 Huey Helicopter.
The purpose of the instrument is to rapidly indicate the attitude, or relationship, of the aircraft with respect to horizon, showing whether the aircraft is climbing, diving, or banking left or right, and to what degree.
The instrument is 'experienced' but still shows well. The unit requires the correct electrical input in order for the knob and sphere to function, if it does. It includes the lighted bezel, but we have no way to test to see if it functions. Measures 5 inches square and ~8.5 inches deep.
