This is a WW2-vintage Emergency Ignition Switch, made by Bendix-Scintilla, Type C-7, as used in the US Army Air Force WW2 heavy bomber Boeing B-29 Superfortress. See photos showing the relevant pages from the B-29 Flight Manual dated August 1943, one describing its operation and the other two showing the location of the switch on the Pilot's auxiliary panel to his left.
The switch is in exceptional and beautiful condition for its age. Measures ~3.25in diameter and ~2.5inches deep (excluding the 1.5in long flip switch).
