Here is a Fuel Quantity Indicator as used in the US Air Force Boeing B-47B Stratojet Bomber for the 20,000 lb capacity Center Main fuel tank. See photo from the B-47B Flight Manual showing the location of this instrument. It has date stamp of Dec 1950.
It is in exceptional condition given its age, other than the rear case paint. The dial markings are clear and the glass and case are intact.
