Vibroflex
Telegraph Key, Vintage 1930's, Custom-Made, Vibroflex Components
Here is an interesting, custom-made Telegraph Key estimated to have been made in the 1930's.
According to a knowledgeable person on the subject:
"The knob and finger piece are from an early Vibroplex, possibly a Blue Racer. The lever arm looks to be from a Vibroplex Lightening Bug. The Vibroplex pieces look like they come from the early to mid 30's. The damper and dit spring are unique in the way the builder decided to fabricate his own design."
The base appears to be of solid brass, giving it quite a heft.
We do not have the ability to test it and cannot guarantee its ability to function, therefore selling it as a display article. Measures 3 inches wide, 6.75 inches long, and ~3 inches high.
