This Recognition Light Control Assembly appeared in nearly all of US Army Air Force aircraft of WWII by the end of the war, including the P-47N Thunderbolt Fighter (see photo of the right side panel of the cockpit indicating the location of the switch box).
The toggles do flip and the keying switch still has its spring action. In very nice condition for its age. The side label is partially removed, see photo. Measures ~3 inches by ~3.5 inches x ~2 inches.
