Instrument Flying Manual, Basic & Advanced USAAF 1944, TO 30-100A,B,F-1

$95.00
This is an original soft-cover WWII-era Instrument Flying Manual, containing Technical Orders 30-100-A, -B, and -F-1 covering both Basic(without Radio Aids) and Advanced (with Radio Aids) training as well as the Instrument Approach System, published by the US Army Air Force in January 1944.  It is packed with illustrations and diagrams. See photos of the tables of contents for each of the three sections. If you want to understand what a 21 yr old WWII-era pilot, like your father or grandfather (or WAC grandma!), had to learn to fly his P-51 or B-17 on instruments, this will do the job. It is a good reference to describe the purpose and usage of the instruments of the era.  About 1/2 inch thick and ~170 pages.
