Dalton Dead Reckoning Computer Model G Knee Board RCAF

This is an Aircraft Navigational Computer, Dalton Dead Reckoning Model G, used by pilots to measure and evaluate their course given flight conditions to identify changes necessary to achieve objectives. It would be strapped to the pilot's leg in flight. It contains the notebook for recording key metrics during a mission.  1950's-era.  Its former owner was an RCAF F-86 Pilot.

The top circular calculator can be flipped open for access to the navigation computer and the notebook.

It is in very good condition.  The dials and knobs turn as they should.  The leg straps are in very good condition. Comes with a United Air Lines pencil from the estate of the former owner, who was also a retired UAL pilot after the RCAF. Measures 5 inches x 6 inches x 2 inches.
