Turn and Bank Indicator, Electric, Luftwaffe FL 22407 Wendezeiger

This is a WWII-era Turn and Bank Indicator (Wendezeiger) FI 22407 used in various aircraft of the German Luftwaffe.  The gyro in this model is electrically-powered, as opposed to those designs which were pneumatically-powered (i.e., via suction), thus reducing the potential risk to reliability arising from a vacuum system (i.e., leaks). 

The indicator is in very good condition given its age. The glass is intact, as is the banking indicator (fluid is intact). The tamper-evident wire and seal are still intact. Measures 3.25 inches diameter and ~6 inches deep.
