This WWII-era MN-52H Control Unit, made by Bendix, for the MN-20 or MN-24 rotatable loop antenna, combining directional finding and general radio signal receiving, for the Bendix MN-10 Direction Finding System and RA-10 Radio Receivers as used in some bomber and transport aircraft of the US Army Air Force and US Navy.
The azimuth control knob turns and rotates the pointer. The light switch toggles, and the Mazda 323 3V bulb is present. The plastic lens is slightly scratched, but the unit is in otherwise in exceptoinal condition given its age. Has a Bendix inspection tag dated March 1944. Measures 5 inches long, ~3.5 inches wide, and ~1.25 inches deep.
