This is an authentic WWII-era Throttle (or Engine Control) Quadrant as used in the infamous carrier-borne Grumman TBM Torpedo Bomber of the US Navy. See photos of the unit mounted on the left side of the TBM cockpit.  The assembly number 94023 embossed in the throttle frame has been verified in the TBM Parts Catalog of 1945.

The quadrant has 3 levers, one each for Supercharger Blower (marked SC), Throttle, and Fuel Mixture (marked M). The top of the Throttle handle contains a button, which was likely for the microphone. A friction control knob is in the center of the body, intended to control the amount of resistance when moving the levers.

All of the levers move freely.  Measures ~13 inches high, ~10 inches wide, and ~5 inches deep.

This artifact is reserved for inquiries by TBM Avenger Restorations.
