This is an authentic WWII-era Throttle (or Engine Control) Quadrant as used in the infamous carrier-borne Douglas SBD Dive Bomber of the US Navy. See photo of the unit mounted on the left side of the SBD cockpit.

The quadrant has 4 levers, one each for Supercharger Blower (marked SC), Throttle, Fuel Mixture (marked M), and Propeller Governor Control Pitch (marked P). The top of the Throttle handle contains a button labeled M, which was likely for the microphone. A friction control knob is in the center of the body, intended to control the amount of resistance when moving the levers.

All of the levers move freely. The friction control knob is very tight. Measures ~13 inches high, ~10 inches wide, and ~5 inches deep.

This artifact is reserved for inquiries by SBD Dauntless Restorations.
