This is an original WWII-era Preliminary Erection and Maintenance Manual for the US Navy Hellcat Fighter, models F6F-3, F6F-5, and the night-fighter N versions equipped with AN/APS-6 radar system. Dated April 1944.
This comprehensive 436-page manual takes the technician through the procedures from uncrating the aircraft to putting it into operation and keeping it in operation.
It is in nice condition given its age. AeroAntique will only consider inquiries for this manual by nonprofit F6F restoration projects.
