B-29 Superfortress Combined Manual Set: Flight, Erection and Maintenance, Cold Weather 1944-5
This is an authentic original (not a reproduction or CD) of three Boeing B-29 Superfortress Manuals: Flight Manual dated Sept 1944, Cold Weather Operations dated Nov 1943, and Erection and Maintenance Manual dated Nov 1944, revised Jan 1945. The combined set is over 1000 pages and ~2inches thick, containing the information necessary to uncrate a B-29's assemblies, assemble them, prepare the aircraft for its first flight, and subsequently maintain and fly the aircraft.
The manuals are full of detailed information on all of the systems of the aircraft. They includes procedures, diagrams, illustrations, and many fold-out pages. Everything you need to know to bring a new B-29 to life and fly it are included in these manuals. It's pages are in black and white with a number of illustrations with color for emphasis of systems architecture and process flows.
The manuals are together in one original AAF Publications hard binder. The first page of the flight manual is torn at the bottom left corner, but all other pages are intact and in very good condition given the age of the manuals.
