This is an authentic original (not a reproduction or CD) of the B-29 Superfortress Erection and Maintenance Manual dated Nov 1944, revised Jan 1945. It is new old stock and never distributed for shop use. The manual is 950 pages and ~2inches thick, containing the information necessary to uncrate a B-29's assemblies, assemble them, prepare the aircraft for its first flight, and subsequently maintain the aircraft.
The manual is full of detailed information on all of the systems of the aircraft. It includes procedures, diagrams, illustrations, and many fold-out pages. Everything you need to know to bring a new B-29 to life is included in this manual. It's pages are in black and white with a number of illustrations with color for emphasis of systems architecture and process flows.
