SPECIAL AUCTION: Wooden Propeller from Curtiss R4 Airplane 1916-19

This wooden propeller is available for sale by a friend of AeroAntique. It is believed to be vintage 1916-1919 for use by the Curtiss R-4 Airplane equipped with the 220 Curtiss V-2 engine judging by stampings on the blade 9'6" x 5'7" and the drawing number 11612. It is 9ft 6in in length and is believed to be mahogany. A US Air Service document from 1919 with helpful propeller information can be found here.

The propeller is located in New York state and can either be picked up locally or shipped, with buyer paying shipping costs.
