Landing Gear Pressure Indicator Type E-3 2000 PSI Air Corps US Army
This is an authentic WW2-vintage Landing Gear Pressure Indicator, Type E-3, made by Manning Maxwell & Moore, as used in early aircraft of the US Army Air Corps. "AC US ARMY" is embossed on the face of the instrument (black on black), see close up photo. This was a lighted instrument, containing a small lamp (still present) in the upper right corner, which would illuminate the inner rim of the dial when the knob is rotated. The instrument would indicate the hydraulic pressure within the undercarriage system of the aircraft, up to 2000 PSI. See a photo the spec sheet in the photo gallery. Measures 2.25in diameter and ~2in deep.
The indicator is in exceptional condition given its age. See spec sheet in the photo gallery.
