Here is an authentic post-WWI-era Airspeed Indicator, 30-160 MPH, Type E, as used in various aircraft of the Air Service US Army, which was a post-WWI precursor (from 1918-1926) of today's US Air Force.  The dial is labeled Air Service US Army.

We have observed this ASI in photos of the instrument panel of the Curtiss Jenny biplane and the post WWI Martin MB-2 Bomber.

It is in good condition given its age. The glass and housing are intact. The lettering on the dial shows its age. The pressure tubes have been bent sideways for an unknown reason. Measures ~5 inches diameter, ~2 inches deep.
