These Bristol Beaufort instrument panels were preserved by our friend Emerson Rasmussen of South East Queensland, Australia, where they reside in his personal collection.
According to Emerson:
"I have a collection of three Beaufort panels.
My biggest is main instrument panel complete and all original which I'm pretty sure is a later model. Made from wood it was removed from an aircraft somewhere in Victoria and all instruments, bar the Altimeter, were in the panel when removed from the aircraft.
The second is the Navigators panel which comes from the nose of the aircraft all original, although it is missing the oxygen regulator.
The third is from an early model Beaufort and is the Engine Panel which sat above the Blind Flying Panel before they switched to the all-in-one approach on my main panel. I also have many other Beaufort and Beaufighter parts and am always looking to expand and hopefully one day pick up a cockpit project."
