Control Wheel / Yoke, B-26 Martin Marauder Medium Bomber

Here is an exceptional specimen of a Control Wheel (aka Yoke) used in the WWII-era medium bomber B-26 Martin Marauder of the US Army Air Force / Air Corps.  

See the image from the B-26 Flight Manual dated April 1945.  Notice the raised letters "UP" at the top of each side of the yoke, most likely for the benefit of the installers.
